El Greco Kitchen & Market

George Soublis brought Greek food to downtown Sarasota when he opened El Greco Cafe at Main Street and Orange Avenue in 1990. His daughter Patti Soublis Corcoran and grandson Dimitri Syros revived it at 4035 Clark Rd. as a fast-casual kitchen built on the family recipes, with gyros, souvlaki, avgolemono soup, and Greek salad served as pitas, bowls, and plates, plus a market of imported Greek ingredients. Open Monday–Saturday, 11 am–8 pm.
