Founded in Gulf Gate in 1996 by Tom Medeiros and owned since the early 2010s by Mario and Elena Mazzini, this cozy daytime cafe at 6604 Gateway Avenue bakes its breads and pastries daily and cooks everything to order. Open 8 am–2 pm seven days a week, it has grown from the Gulf Gate original into sister locations in Venice and Englewood.
